Overview
Issues of health are coming to the forefront of the international
political arena through economic and social lens. The complexity
of these issues has been represented in advancing medical
technologies, aging of the population, growing health expenditures,
changing directions of public health, modifying food standards,
developing field of bioethics, and protecting the rights of
those sick or injured, amongst others. The Centre for Health
Studies aims to study the intersection of these topics with
its' strong background in political affairs.
